Pediatric Grand Rounds started in 1964 with the goal of providing information and medical education to students, faculty, residents, nurses and other health care professionals as it pertains to pediatrics.
Grand Rounds are given by Virginia Commonwealth University faculty members and guest speakers throughout the academic year.
The VCU School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Physicians may claim up to one hour in Type 1 or Type 2 CME on the Virginia Board of Medicine Continued Competency and Assessment Form required for renewal of an active medical license. VCU designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
