Grand Rounds

Pediatric Grand Rounds started in 1964 with the goal of providing information and medical education to students, faculty, residents, nurses, community pediatricians and other health care professionals.

Grand Rounds are given by Virginia Commonwealth University faculty members and guest speakers throughout the academic year.

CME credit

University Health Services Professional Education Programs (UHS-PEP) of Virginia Commonwealth University Health System is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.  UHS-PEP designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits ™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

How to claim your credit

In order to claim your credits and certificate of participation, you must first have a profile set up in the VCU CME Tracker system. Then you will be able to complete the program evaluation online, enter the credits you are claiming and your certificate will be generated for you to print. You are able to log back into the system to download past participation certificates and/or transcripts as well. Dowload instructions for obtaining CME credit.
